Managers Message

Well, time really does fly. This branch will be 10 years old on the 24th March this year.

It seem like only yesterday when the local community was getting together and looking for ways to retain banking services in the local area when one of the majors decided to close up shop here in Galston.

A “Community Bank” was the answer and we have come a long way since then. The branch is now very successful with just under 5000 accounts generating good profits each year which are being distributed back to shareholders and the community through sponsorships and donations.

Galston Financial Services Limited returned 0.13c per share fully franked this financial year and so far has returned over $220,000 in Donations & Sponsorship Grants making it over $800,000- since we opened.

To celebrate these achievements we will be holding a “Family Fun Day” on the 7th October 2012 so please stay tuned for more details to be posted on this website as plans for the day are finalised.
